It’s never too early to lay down the foundation for a strong approach to business management! Dean Buescher, Independent Business Management Consultant, talks the new class at PHS:

Payson High School in Rim County is adding a new course to their catalog next year.  Starting school year 2021 — 2022, students will have the opportunity to take a Business Management class.  The decision to add the class to the PHS curriculum catalog is the direct result of students’ top requests in a survey on potential new classes.

At PHS, more and more students are showing interest in business and the global economy.  The school already offers students the opportunity to participate in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).  The new Business Management course will be an excellent compliment to the FBLA program, as well as the general curriculum at PHS.

Dean Buescher fully supports the idea of expanding high school curriculum with a focus on Business Management.  In terms of career development, field-specific courses are critical in helping students hone their workplace skills early on.  This new program certainly fits that bill!
